Septic Tank Installation, Repair, Replacement
Septic Systems are used to assist in taking the wastewater away from the house. This wastewater water from the showers, toilets, dishwasher, washing machine, go into the tank that is usually buried near the house. This tank holds the water until all the solid waste sinks to the bottom and the grease and oil float to the top. The sludge that now remains in the tank will be broken down by naturally occurring bacteria. Once the water reaches a certain level it will overflow into the distribution box and then will be distributed into perforated pipes which is called a distribution field. Over time the sludge will build up and at some point, you will have to have your septic tank pumped by a professional. There are a few ways that you as the consumer can help to maintain your septic tank, and that is by being cautious of the chemicals you are flushing down your toilet and rinsing down your sinks.
There are several different types of septic tanks, and this will depend on the county regulation/guidelines, and personal choice of the customer. Usually, the septic system is based on gravity and elevation and sloping are used to assist the water in flowing through the pipes. Certain considerations must be taken in the placement of the septic tank, such as property lines, large structures, existing wells, lakes, streams, pools, and large trees. Once your septic system is installed you must remember that you cannot place certain structures such as pools, buildings on top of the system, and you cannot park heavy objects on top of the system or drain field.
Cost of Septic Tank Installation will be based on the number of bedrooms in the home you either have or are planning to build. Cost will be calculated based on the size of the tank, septic tank, and installation/labor cost. Due to the economy at this time, cost will vary based on price increases at the time of your installation.
